چکیده
The purpose of this study was to develop freeze dried Polylactide-co-glycolide (PLGA) nanoparticles loaded with etoposide intended be administered intravenously improved therapeutic efficacy the drug and thereby reduced dose related toxicity associated it. were prepared using modified spontaneous emulsification solvent diffusion method (SESD).The in Vitro release (PLGA)–Nanoparticles NP carried by dialysis bag technique. The incorporation efficiency found higher SESD technique than evaporation method. behavior exhibited a biphasic pattern characterized an initial burst followed slow continuous release. particle size, zeta potential, polydispersity index, DSC FTIR. long term stability achieved lyophilisation technique. cell line XTT assay on LNCaP prostate tumor lines revealed that showed greater cancer inhibition compared plain marketed conventional formulations.

Preparation, characterization, and optimization of primaquine-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles
Primaquine (PQ) is one of the most widely used antimalarial drugs and is the only available drug that combats the relapsing form of malaria. PQ use in higher doses is limited by severe tissue toxicity including hematological- and gastrointestinal-related side effects. Nanoformulation of drugs in an appropriate drug carrier system has been extensively studied and shown to have the potential to i...
متن کاملPreparation and Evaluation of Vancomycin-Loaded N-trimethyl Chitosan Nanoparticles
Chronic intracellular infections caused by drug-resistant pathogens pose a challenge to the treatment of chronic osteomyelitis. Such treatment requires an intracellular delivery system for the sustained release of antibiotics such as vancomycin (VCM), which is an antibiotic of last resort used against many clinically resistant bacteria. In this work, we report VCM-loaded N-trimethyl chitosan (T...
متن کاملPreparation and Evaluation of Montelukast Sodium Loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles
Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) are an alternative carrier system used to load the drug for targeting, to improve the bioavailability by increasing its solubility, and protecting the drug from presystemic metabolism. The avoidance of presystemic metabolism is due to the nano-metric size range, so that the liver cannot uptake the drug from the delivery system and is not metabolized by the liver...
متن کاملPreparation of finasteride capsules-loaded drug nanoparticles: formulation, optimization, in vitro, and pharmacokinetic evaluation
In this study, optimized freeze-dried finasteride nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared from drug nanosuspension formulation that was developed using the bottom-up technique. The effects of four formulation and processing variables that affect the particle size and solubility enhancement of the NPs were explored using the response surface optimization design. The optimized formulation was morpholog...
